Fiberglass Corp. was founded in 1976 by Don and Jack
Retterbush in a barn near Gettysburg, Ohio. In 1979, the
business moved to its present site in Piqua, Ohio. High
quality parts and on time deliveries have enabled the
company to maintain a steady growth. The innovative staff
and clean, modern manufacturing facility (28,800 sq. ft.)
allows the company to take a concept from the drawing
board to finished product in the most economical way. The
company is capable of using several different
manufacturing and tooling methods. This allows a choice
of the most efficient method to meet your needs. Given the excellent cost/performance characteristics of FRP composites, the variety of products is growing at an explosive rate. Glass reinforced composites have proven themselves in the cold of liquid nitrogen, in the heat of South Africa, in the corrosive chemical environment of the Gulf of Mexico, and in the beauty of the latest RV motor homes. FRP can adapt to all of these conditions and more because the combination of plastic resin, glass fibers, and the appropriate process creates a component where the whole is truly greater than the individual parts. |
